American Standard wedge gate valve
The gate valve is used to cut off the medium. When it is fully opened, the whole flow is straight through, and the pressure loss of medium operation is minimized. Gate valves are generally suitable for applications that do not require frequent opening and closing, but also keep the gate fully open or closed. Not suitable for adjustment or throttling. For high-speed flow media, the shutter will cause the door vibration under the condition of partial opening, and the vibration may damage the shutter.
